Forklift General Fitter Role
The Forklift Fitter is factory based at our site in Clowne, Chesterfield, S43 4AB.
The Forklift Fitter will have good general engineering skills and ideally experienced in assembly or repair & maintenance of forklifts or other similar industrial trucks. The successful candidate will be well supported within our manufacturing team and undergo comprehensive training but will be expected to meet deadlines from the outset and their performance will be monitored. The company has high expectations of all employees.
- Manufacture of components using general machining techniques
- Building of assemblies
- Final construction and testing of our forklift trucks
- Strictly comply with our Quality standards and procedures
- Strict compliance with all H&S procedures
- In-depth mechanical experience
- Hydraulic experience
- Experience with electrical assembly
- Willingness to learn new skills and expand existing knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
Salary: Competitive
Contract: Permanent 39hr week Mon – Fri + overtime opportunities.
