Warranty Provision
Lifting equipment purchased directly from Penny Engineering is supplied with a one-year parts and labour warranty. Our objective is to provide customers with first-class support and in the rare event that a product fault is encountered within one year of purchase, Penny Engineering Service Department will be on hand to support you every step of the way.
Located throughout the United Kingdom, our team of service engineers are usually able to respond within two working days of an issue being reported (Monday to Friday). They carry a stock of spare parts, meaning most issues arising can be fixed first time, without the need for repeat attendances. Getting your equipment operational with minimal down time and effect on your business operation. We are very proud of our first-time fix rate and our service department have passed over one hundred 10/10 NPS feedback scores.

Terms and Conditions
Penny Engineering product warranty applies only under the following conditions:
- The unit or part must not have been subject to neglect or abuse or operated under abnormal conditions or in an unapproved application
- The responsibility of the Company is restricted to what is, in their judgement an adequate repair or replacement of the Company’s product
- An authorised and competent engineer must carry out six-monthly inspection and make adjustments as necessary
- The warranty is void if examination reveals that the unit or part has been repaired or adjusted other than by an authorised engineer
- Normal service repairs carried out by authorised engineers are supported by their own warranty
- Warranty does not extend to consumable items requiring replacement due to normal wear and tear

UK Mainland Warranty Claims
Penny Engineering field engineers are based throughout the United Kingdom and available to visit site, investigate, and rectify any issue. This policy may be varied at our discretion, but it is our aim to give the very best possible response to minimise product downtime and inconvenience.
Warranty Claims from Other Locations
Penny Engineering product warranty for claims outside the United Kingdom is limited to a parts-only service. In certain areas service partners may be able to assist. Any defective item should be returned to Penny Engineering Ltd for inspection and any valid warranty claim will include reasonable carriage costs both ways. A replacement part will then be sent to the customer.
No variation of the product warranty, as stated in the Company’s Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale, is authorised unless agreed in writing by a Director of the Company. This is the only warranty given and the Company accepts no other responsibility.
Services from Penny Engineering
All lifting equipment in the United Kingdom is subject to Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER). It is a legal requirement to ensure lifting equipment is examined and tested and operators are trained to a competent level. To keep you on the right side of the law, Penny Engineering offer training and servicing of lifting equipment.
