Yes. All our trailer cranes are built in conformance with the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 1992. Our “technical file” (a legal requirement) documents how we meet these criteria, enabling us to CE-mark our cranes and release a “Declaration of Conformity”.
Our hydraulic trailer cranes feature an LME04 + SCU safety system that meets EN 12999:2011 requirements. This is the European Harmonised Standard for loader cranes per the health and safety requirements specified in the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 1992.
As per the ALLMI/CPA Best Practice Guide, all crane operators must wear the following PPE:
- Hardhat
- Safety goggles / glasses
- High visibility jacket
- Gloves
- Work boots
Crane stabiliser legs extend out of the side of the trailer to help stabilise the crane when in use. We will advise on the need for stabiliser legs and the type of stabiliser legs required for your application.
