Why Use a Van, Truck or Lorry with a Crane?
Avoid Accidents
Manual handling is responsible for 1 in 3 accidents at work. A reliable crane van, lorry, or truck eliminates the need for heavy lifting, protecting your staff from injury and assets from damage.
Improve Productivity
A crane truck expands material handling capabilities and reduces group tasks to just a single operator, enhancing operational efficiency, improving productivity, and boosting revenue.
Maximise Payload
While highly strong and durable, our vehicle mounted cranes are lightweight and compact. Requiring little space to operate, these cranes minimise the impact on your payload capacity.
Versatile Handling
Our vehicle mounted cranes are completely customisable, making your crane lorry, truck, or van the perfect solution to address the unique demands of your material handling operations.

What Is a Vehicle Mounted Crane?
Vehicle mounted cranes (e.g., Maxilift cranes) are a specific type of lifting equipment permanently attached to trucks, vans, lorries, or trailers. This setup allows for quick and convenient transportation of the crane to different sites, facilitating the safe and efficient handling of various awkward and heavy loads, including steel beams, timber, tools, waste, and much more.
Our hydraulic cranes, powered by an internal hydraulic system, can lift heavier loads of up to 3300kg. In contrast, our electric cranes are more lightweight and compact, capable of lifting up to 500kg. Whatever the task, we can work with you to develop a crane vehicle solution that maximises the safety, performance, and reliability of your lifting operations.

Van or pickup truck crane stabiliser legs extend out of the side of the vehicle to help stabilise the crane when in use. Our team can advise on the stabilisers needed to ensure the loads being lifted do not cause your vehicle to tip over. Not all cranes will need stabiliser legs.
