APF Exhibition 2024

Visit Us at the UK’s Largest Forestry Tradeshow

Penny Engineering is excited to attend the APF Exhibition for the second time, located on stand 180-200!! Join us at the UK’s largest forestry, woodland, arboriculture, firewood, fencing, trees, and timber tradeshow, taking place on the 19th – 21st of September 2024 at Ragley Estate, Warwickshire.

What Is the APF Exhibition 2024?

The Association of Professional Foresters (APF) ran its first forestry exhibition back in 1976! In 2000, it merged with other member organisations to form Confor – but with many still referring to its tradeshow as the APF, it kept these initials and formed a separate limited company (APF International Forest Machinery Exhibition Ltd), whose sole shareholder is Confor.

Confor is funded by and accountable to all businesses in the UK timber supply chain, aiming to promote the market for wood, forest products, and forest services, and help to improve the industry’s competitiveness. The APF Exhibition 2024 is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Confor and is recognised as a premier gathering within the forestry sector – attracting thousands of visitors each year.

What to Expect at the APF Exhibition?

The biggest names in the industry will use the event to present the latest products and innovations, with forestry tractors, harvester heads, forwarders, and cone splitters set to be among the highlights.

There will also be more competitions and events than ever before, including the World Pole Climbing Championships, the European Chainsaw Carving Championships, the British Open Tree Climbing Competition, and many others.

You’ll get to experience a range of daily practical demos, workshops, and training on various machinery, industry skills, and safety tips, alongside woodland crafts, horse logging, and new for 2024 – axe throwing! Most of all, you’ll get the chance to speak to on-hand experts for information, advice, and networking.
